The Dean of Student’s Office

The Dean of Students Office coordinates the efforts of all departments within the Student Services Division and offers programs, services, information, and other resources to assist all University students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

Athletics Department

The Athletic Department’s programs of intercollegiate, intramural and life fitness skills are designed to offer activities that reveal sports as a meaningful component of a student’s total educational experience.

Campus Ministry

The Office of Campus Ministry and Interfaith Center exist to help students, faculty, and staff meet their spiritual, moral, and social needs. The Center offers a meditation room, as well as an 18 seat capacity Interfaith Room, to members of the University’s many religious traditions. Chaplain Amy Fisher serves as counselor and spiritual guide. All are invited to the Interfaith Center, located on the 5th floor of the Donahue Building, to discuss whatever personal, social, or religious concerns that you may have. Upon request, arrangements can be made with other religious leaders for counseling and guidance.

Career Services and Cooperative Education

The Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education assists students and alumni in formulating career plans by providing the support and resources necessary to develop a proactive campaign that results in the successful attainment of career goals.

Health Services

The mission of Health Services is to assist all Suffolk University students in maintaining optimum physical and emotional health, by making available comprehensive, high-quality, easily accessible, cost-effective primary care. Additionally, Health Services is committed to working collaboratively with students to assist them in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and enhance healthful attitudes and behaviors that will promote high-level wellness. Health Services will support students in their personal and academic development, consistent with the mission of the University.

Residence Life and Summer Programs

The goal of the Department of Residence Life is to provide all Suffolk University resident students with a community which is safe and secure; fosters academic and intellectual achievement; supports personal growth and development; and encourages community living and appreciation of diversity.
