If you’re interested in attending Family Orientation, you can register at the same time as your student (access to your student’s MySuffolk account is required). There is a $30 fee per attending family member, which will be collected upon registration.  This fee does not include optional on-campus accommodations.

For families who would like to stay on-campus, we offer several options.  We have single and double rooms available at our Miller Residence Hall.   These rooms are only for families, students will be housed separately for the entirety of their orientation program.  Rooms are basic residence hall accommodations, with the possibility of shared bathrooms. For family members travelling in couples or groups, we suggest our double room option for each participant to ensure you are housed together.

All new freshmen and transfer students are required to attend orientation. For family members, Orientation sessions are optional but highly recommended.
