The Ramifications are Suffolk's popular co-ed a cappella group. Formed in the spring of 2001 and comprised of 12-15 students, they quickly made a name for themselves in the Suffolk community, the Boston area, and even around the Northeast. The group has a contemporary repertoire spanning everything from pop and rock to R&B and soul. The Ramifications have two albums to their credit, "Voices in the Attic" and "If Maniacs Riot." You can purchase their "If Maniacs Riot" 2010 CD in the Suffolk Bookstore for $12! The Ramifications are working on a brand new CD now.
The Ramifications can be seen at campus events including FallFest, PAO Holiday and Spring Concerts, and their annual A Cappella Festival. They also perform regularly with other a cappella groups throughout the Northeast and are available for private functions both on and off campus. Past appearances include singing the National Anthem at a Celtics game and a guest performance during a Valentine's Day segment on Fox 25 news.
The Ramifications are competing in the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) at MIT on Saturday February 28 at 7pm. Get your tickets to support the Ramifications!
