• Ram Account FAQ

What is the Ram Account? How do I sign up?

The Ram Account is a stored value account linked to your Ram Card, which is your Suffolk University ID.  You can use your Ram Account as a method of payment at participating locations both on and off-campus.

You do not need to “sign up” for a Ram Account.  All students, faculty and staff with a Suffolk ID can use the Ram Account.  You just add funds to your Ram Account, and you can use it for on and off-campus purchases.

How is my Ram Account different from a Meal Plan?

Only resident students have Meal Plans, where the Ram Account is open to all Suffolk University students—commuter and resident—as well as faculty and staff.  Meal Plan funds are designated for use at on-campus dining locations only, and they roll over from fall to spring semester, but expire annually.  Ram Account funds can be used at all participating locations on and off-campus, and they are available as long as you are at Suffolk.
