Off-Campus Housing Fair

Thursday, February 23rd

Time: 11am– 2pm

Location: Donahue Lobby and Donahue Cafeteria

This is an invaluable, free opportunity to meet area realtors and leasing companies. Staff from the Off-Campus Housing Office (OCHO) will also be available to answer questions about your off-campus housing search. You can also learn about other organizations and companies like Zipcar, Boston Inspectional Services, and Comcast. Be sure to enter your name in our raffle and receive an OCHO giveaway. OCHO Open House

Friday February 24th

Location: OCHO Resource Room - 73 Tremont Street, 4th Floor

Still trying to figure out your living situation for next year? Have questions about your rights as a tenant? Do you know how to sublet your apartment? Want to learn more about university policies for living off campus? OCHO staff is available to answer these questions and more. Join us as we casually speak about issues that revolve around living off campus over coffee and bagels. Part of the Transitions 2012 series of events for students new to off-campus living.

Suffolk University's Cultural Pageant

Friday, February 24th

Time: 7pm

Location: Modern Theatre

This show will broadcast diversity here at Suffolk and will be a great way to bring everyone together. Ladies and gentlemen who are interested and would like to represent their nationality and become a bigger part of the Suffolk community are all welcome to sign up! Multicultural Summit

Saturday, March 3rd

Time: 9am-5pm

Location: Sargent Hall Function Room, 1st Floor

Come learn how your identity influences all that you do and how you can use this knowledge to become an agent of change on campus and in the world.  This day-long, interactive forum explores aspects of diversity and multiculturalism.  Students will increase their awareness of issues of inclusion and develop action plans. Sponsored by the Office of Diversity Services, for more information please click here!

Off-Campus Housing Information Session

Location: Donahue 403

Spring into your housing search with this fun information session on the apartment search process. We will hold a brief presentation on the ins-and-outs of finding your new home, and also test your knowledge! Prizes will be awarded. Summer Co-Op Job Fair

Location: Holiday Inn Ballroom (5 Blossom Street at Cambridge Street)

Students will have the opportunity to meet with employers in all fields to discuss opportunities for summer employment. Make sure to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes! Sponsored by the Office of Career Services & Cooperative Education.

It’s No Joke- Roommate & Housing Fair

Monday April 2nd

Time: 5-8pm

Location: 150 Tremont Street, Basement

April Fool's Day is so yesterday!  Now it's time to get serious about your apartment search.  First, join us for a meet-and-greet event designed to help you find your future roomates.  If you meet someone you like, follow up.  Next, you'll meet area realtors and representatives from leasing companies and other organizations.  Plus, Off-Campus Housing Office staff will be available to answer questions about your search. Part of the Transitions 2012 series of events for students new to off-campus living.

Sophomore ‘Halfway There’ Celebration – Bruins vs. Penguins

Tuesday, April 3rd

Time: 6pm

Location: TD Garden

Come out and celebrate finishing two years of college with the Class of 2014! You’re invited to enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring ‘Taste of the Garden’ snacks, followed by an awesome match-up between the Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins and the Pittsburgh Penguins. This second-to-last game of the regular NHL season is sure to be an important and exciting contest! All-inclusive tickets will go on sale for $14 at the Hub in March. Sponsored by the Office of Orientation & New Student Programs.

Decadent De-Stressing

Tuesday, April 24th

Time: 7-9pm

Location: 73 Tremont Café

The Off Campus Housing Office invites you to the 73 Tremont Café to indulge. Have some decadent downtime before finals. We’ll treat you to a chair massage and desserts. OCHO representatives will also be there for anyone interested in talking about the apartment search, sublets for the summer and commuter student life.
