"Go Do Good"

Each spring the Center for Community Engagement organizes a day for the Suffolk community to perform service in the Greater Boston area. Service projects take place during daytime and early evening shifts, with a free on-campus celebratory luncheon that recognizes the past year of service.       

Service Day Schedule (approximate, please see project list for exact times of each service project):

  • Morning Service Shift:    8:30am-12:30pm
  • Lunch Celebration:          11:30pm-1:30pm (Donahue Cafeteria)
  • Afternoon Service Shift:  12:30pm-4:30pm
  • Evening Service Shift:     4:30pm-8:00pm

How to Register

Group Registration Procedure: (3 or more people)

  1. Contact the CCE or check our website to find out about available service projects and select three project options.
  2. Submit the group’s prioritized project selections to the CCE (phone, email, or stop by our office in Donahue 209).  Include the size of the group and the name of the group organizer.
  3. After receipt of your request, the group organizer will receive a tentative reservation for one project.
  4. Once the group organizer has received the group’s reservation, all participating group members should submit the required forms (see below) to confirm their spaces.

Individual Registration Procedure:

  1. Contact the CCE or check our website to find out about available service projects and select three project options.
  2. Submit your prioritized project selections to the CCE (phone, email, or stop by our office in Donahue 209).
  3. After receipt of your request, you will receive a tentative reservation for one project.
  4. Once you have received your reservation, submit the required forms (see below) to confirm your space.
