Mission Statement

Suffolk University is proud to enhance the experiences of our African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American (AHANA) students, faculty, and staff members. The President’s Commission on the Status of AHANA Faculty, Staff, and Students provides public advocacy on AHANA-related issues. Additionally, the Commission seeks to engage the greater Suffolk community by building awareness and offering educational opportunities.

Membership

Faculty, staff and students of the Suffolk Community are invited to be a part of the Commission.

Meetings

The Commission meets once a month during the spring and fall semesters. An annual day long retreat is held during the summer.
