Career Services—Cooperative Education

The Co-op Program offers both part-time and full-time work options and is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. By combining relevant work experience with academic studies, students have the best opportunity for personal, professional and career development. Additionally, students are able to subsidize their education costs while building their resumes in preparation for their professional lives.

Students can work either part-time (the most popular option) or full-time. Part-time co-ops usually involve working 15-25 hours per week while continuing to take a full load of courses. Students working full-time must have completed a full load of courses the previous semester and then must return to school for the semester after their co-op placement.

Co-ops are available for all majors. Most positions are located in businesses and organizations within easy commuting distance of campus, so that students can balance their work and academic schedules.
