Professionally trained staff provide individual career counseling for alumni trying to identify and refine their career goals, using these proven, sophisticated tools:

  • Vocational Tests: Myers-Briggs, Self Directed Search, Campbell Interest and Skills and Harrington O'Shea Career Decision Making System, Career Leader
  • FOCUS: career assessment system available through the web

Recruiting Services

Our recruiting services are designed for alumni who are actively pursuing permanent professional positions. This program offers a variety of job resources that help identify employment opportunities.

Experience

Full-time job postings received by Career Services can be accessed through the Experience system.

MonsterTrak

Suffolk is a member of the MonsterTrak network, which provides information on career and job hunting issues, career fairs and other career resources.

Career Library and Full-time Job Books

The Career Library contains a variety of Career Planning electronic and hard copy access to information about career paths, job search strategies, interviewing, resume writing and cover letters, employers and industries, and occupations and majors. Job listings are posted daily, categorized by function and industry. Additionally, alumni from the undergraduate and graduate programs should look at the web pages in the Undergraduate and Graduate sections of this webpage, respectively, for career and job search information and useful links to other resources.

The University participates in numerous job fairs, most of which are collaborative efforts with other Boston-area schools.

Alumni Career Advisory Network (ACAN)

ACAN offers a listing of over 500 College and Business School alumni who have volunteered to discuss their careers and act as networking sources. ACAN advisors represent a broad range of occupations and industries.
