Resident Assistants are integral members of the Residence Life & Housing team. Their primary goal is to support, create and maintain a thriving community in the residence halls.
To achieve this goal, RAs work as a team and serve as role models for other students. Some of their key responsibilities are:
- Community Development
- Peer Advising
- Educational Programming
- Safety/ Policy Confrontation
Being a RA provides students with the opportunity to develop valuable leadership and communication skills, shape Suffolk’s residential environment and make friendships that will last a lifetime.
