
The Office of Student Leadership and Involvement at Suffolk University is looking for energetic and talented candidates to fill several Graduate Fellow positions each academic year. It is the mission of our division to assist students to successfully adjust to student life within the community of Suffolk University. Graduate Fellows play an active and critical role in supporting departmental efforts to meet this goal throughout the departments within the division. While Suffolk does offer a Master of Education program in Administration of Higher Education, candidates will be considered from all of our nearly 50 graduate degree programs and concentrations. Graduate fellows receive a $6200 grant and are paid $3100 for 16 hours of employment over the course of the semester.
To be eligible, candidates must apply and be admitted to a graduate program in either the College of Arts and Sciences or the Sawyer School of Management and be enrolled full-time for the duration of their appointment. The major function of the office assistant is to be a resource of information by aiding in the encouragement of students to take active roles in the University. Provide assistant with upcoming programs information, selling tickets as well as performing a variety of clerical and office duties. The goal is to make students aware of harvest and utilize their leadership abilities and skills.
• Applicants should have Federal Work-Study or student employment.
• Attend a 1 hour monthly staff meeting throughout the semester.
• Complete all documentation relating to the office and procedures.
