Specialty Area

Development of assessment instruments

Over the past 50 years, my career in psychology has been devoted to test development, research, clinical training, and teaching with each of these components highly interrelated and all driven by my commitment to the importance of a process-oriented approach rather than a global achievement-oriented one. My research continues to focus on cognitive functions across the life span with major emphases on pairing the components of verbal and visuospatial information processing and on learning and memory. Future research is in part based on archival data at the Psychological Corporation on my published tests.
