Becoming educated is a complex process, starting from the day we are born. As people with strong visual abilities, observing is a significant part of the way we learn and build knowledge. The goal is to encourage students to make links. The "ah ha" moment comes when the students connect what they observe with what they know about the world, society, themselves - when one aspect informs the other, this is the moment when good and innovative initiatives happen.
