After completing my bachelor’s degree at the University of Colorado, I worked for several years in Denver’s community mental healthcare system. Upon moving to Boston, I began work on my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Suffolk University. My interest in behavior therapy and mindfulness based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy led me to Dr. Orsillo’s lab, where I am involved in several research projects. My current study involves evaluating predictors of the development of problem drinking over the first semester of college.

My research and clinical interests lie in the areas of drug and alcohol misuse, evidence based practice development and implementation, and social skills training. Additionally, I am interested in the teaching of both psychology and applied behavioral healthcare.
