10:50 – 12:00 noon Keynote Address: “Rebuilding health care after Katrina: where we are now and where we are going” by Dr. Karen B.  DeSalvo.  Dr. DeSalvo (MD, MPH, MSc) graduated from Suffolk University in 1988 (B.A.) and is currently Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, and C. Thorpe Ray Chair in Internal Medicine at Tulane University’s School of Medicine.
