Presentation guidelines

TITLE OF THE PAPER IN BOLD AND ALL CAPITAL LETTERS

List authors, beginning with the last name of the first author. The full name of the first author should be given, but subsequent authors should be listed only as their first and middle initials followed by their last name. Indicate the presenting author with an asterisk (*; not superscript)

e.g.
Itall*, N.O. and I.M. Wise.

List author institutions including complete mailing addresses for all authors and email addresses only for the first author and the presenting author (if different).

e.g.
Dept. of Biology, Northern College, North Woods, ME  04444  noitall@northern.edu

Abstract text not to exceed 275 words.  [Note: To find this value in MS Word, highlight the abstract text (excluding title and author information) and go to Tools  Word Count... it will be listed with the other statistics.]  Use double spaces between sentences.

This is the abstract for my presentation.  The abstract text totals less than 275 words.  I have used Times New Roman or Symbol (e.g., µ) font, but no others.  I have not used Equation Editor or similar add-ins to create equations or other graphics in the abstract. Powerpoint Presentations

All oral presentations should be prepared as Microsoft Powerpoint shows using MS Powerpoint.  All presentations will be pre-loaded onto conference equipment.  No personal laptops will be used - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Please be sure to: Embed graphs and figures in the file as independent objects, rather than dynamically linking them from other programs Limit file size as much as possible by using images with minimum necessary resolution, etc.

Bring your presentation to the registration desk upon arrival at Suffolk University.  Store the file on a PC formatted (not MacIntosh) CD, DVD or USB memory drive. 

Posters

All posters should be no larger than 36 inches high x 42 inches wide (91 cm high x 110 cm wide).
