Suffolk University’s JRCERT accredited Medical Science program is a collaboration between the Suffolk University physics and biology departments and our world class clinical sites: Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital , Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, North Shore Cancer Center, Exeter Cancer Care Center (Exeter, NH) and Newton Wellesley Hospital. This collaboration offers students the chance to obtain their clinical experience at some of the finest oncology facilities in the country.
The Clinical Track in Radiation Therapy is designed for students wishing to become radiation therapists. Radiation therapy is the careful administration of highly focused forms of radiation to treat cancer and other rare diseases. Please note, admission to the university does not automatically admit a student into the Clinical Track in Radiation Therapy. Admission to the "Clinical Track" requires an additional application and interview.
The mission of the Radiation Therapy Program is to meet the educational needs of students interested in pursuing a career as a Radiation Therapist by a successful admissions process, multifaceted faculty, and a diverse clinical experience. Graduates of our program will think critically, communicate effectively, and appreciate the importance of continued education in providing optimal care to their patients.
