Here are pictures of some History Department events.  In September 2007 we took a boat to George’s Island, in Boston Harbor, and toured the Civil War fort.

In January 2008, Professor Rodriguez’s HST 507 class took a trip to El Salvador to learn about that country’s civil war, and the role of Congressman Joe Moakley in resolving it.

Professor Rodriguez and five students attended the USS CONSTITUTION Museum’s Chairman’s Dinner in October 2008, where they heard from Chief of Naval Operations Gary Roughhead and Mayor Thomas Menino, and had the opportunity to talk with sailors and marines from the world’s oldest commissioned warship.
