Since its launch in July 2007, Suffolk Arts+Sciences magazine has received national recognition for design and editorial excellence.

No. 1 // ENCORE

• September, 2008--FOLIO: honored the magazine with a Gold EDDIE Award in the category of Supplemental Annual, One-Shot, Full Issue.

• September, 2008--FOLIO: honored the magazine with a Bronze OZZIE Award in the category of Best Design, New Magazine, Association/Non-Profit.

• July, 2008--The premier issue received the 2008 APEX Award for Publication Excellence in the category of New Magazines and Journals.

• June, 2008--The Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) presented the magazine with a 2008 Gold EXCEL Award in the category of "Most Improved Newsletter to Magazine."

• June, 2008--SNAP also presented the magazine with an overall Extra! Award for outstanding excellence in publishing.

• June, 2009--The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) presented the magazine with a Bronze Award in the Individual Institutional Relations Publications category

• June, 2009--The Society of National Association Publications (SNAP) presented the magazine with a Bronze Award for Best Feature Article, honoring Lauri Umansky’s story, "Teaching & Mentoring, the 1-2 Punch"
  
• June 2009--The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) awarded the magazine with a Beacon Award in the Higher Education Materials category
  
• June 2009--The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) awarded the magazine with a Distinguished Achievement Award in the Design/Whole Publication/Adult category

• September 2009--Graphic Design USA presented the magazine with an American Graphic Design Award
