Internships Launch Careers

Though not required, the internship and practicum option is ideal for students who wish to clarify their career objectives or expand their experiences within their current career. Graduate Internship in Crime & Justice

The graduate internship is a one- or two-semester placement in a criminal justice agency where the student experiences criminal justice in action. Students receive 3 credit hours per semester for a maximum of 6 credit hours. In the semester prior to enrollment, students must meet with the director to explore possible placements. Placements can range from advocacy to law enforcement agencies to penal institutions.

Graduate Practicum in Crime & Justice

The graduate practicum is a one- or two-semester opportunity for an individual who is currently a full-time employee of a criminal justice agency. The program is intended to provide new training and experiences that are available at his/her current place of employment. Students receive 3 credit hours per semester.
