The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University is located in the center of Boston's art and design district. We are steps from the galleries on Newbury Street, the SOWA arts district and a short T ride away from the Museum of Fine Arts, the Institute of Contemporary Art and the Boston Design Center. The School is a 15-minute walk (or a 5-minute train ride) from the main campus on Beacon Hill. We are located near the southwest corner of the Boston Public Garden at 75 Arlington Street, one block from the Arlington T-stop.

Undergraduate Information Sessions
Join us for a School of Art & Design information session and learn more about Suffolk University's undergraduate programs in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Illustration and Interior Design. During the information session, you will learn about portfolio and admission requirements for School of Art & Design applicants as well as financial aid and job placement. There will be a tour of the gallery, studios and classrooms at the School of Art & Design followed by a student-led walking tour of the campus, so please wear comfortable shoes. The School of Art & Design is located near the southwest corner of the Boston Public Garden at 75 Arlington Street. We are just steps away from Boston’s gallery district on Newbury Street and a short train ride to the Museum of Fine Arts, making our location ideal for those who want to study art and design in an urban environment. The School is a 15-minute walk (or a 5-minute train ride) from the main campus on Beacon Hill, and it is just a 10-minute walk from the Tremont and West Street Residence Hall. We are located one block from the Arlington T-stop.
Public Transportation
MBTA Green Line Arlington Street Station: When exiting to street level, walk one block south on Arlington Street, keeping the Public Garden and Newbury Street behind you. Cross St. James Avenue. The entrance to 75 Arlington is halfway down the block on the right hand side. Look for an ornate metal awning. We are directly across the street from the Park Plaza Hotel.
MBTA Orange Line & Commuter Rail Back Bay Station: When exiting to street level, proceed down Dartmouth Street two blocks north toward Copley Square. Turn right on St. James Avenue. Turn right on Arlington Street. The entrance to 75 Arlington is halfway down the block on the right hand side. Look for an ornate metal awning. Parking
On-Street parking is limited; two-hour meters are available during the day and free after 8pm. Validated parking is available both at the 200 Stuart Street Garage (617-457-2625) and at the 10 St. James Garage (617-482-6613). Parking rates are subject to change, please call to confirm rates.
