Suffolk’s BSE program in electrical engineering will empower you to become a skilled academic researcher, as well as to thrive in careers with major industrial corporations, start-ups, and consulting groups. You’ll learn how to design and conduct experiments; to analyze and interpret data; to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems; to participate in discussions involving ethical, contemporary, and social issues relating to the impact of engineering on society; and to use software simulation and computation packages, and basic laboratory instrumentation.

You may also choose to continue your studies at Suffolk University Law School by studying patent law—one of the hottest areas of law in the US. You can earn a juris doctor (JD) degree with a concentration in intellectual property and specialization in patent law. You may even be able to have your studies paid for—law firms often pay full tuition for employees who attend law courses at night.
