Honors students

A select number of highly motivated and academically promising freshmen are invited to join the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) Honors Program. The program provides a dynamic and challenging intellectual experience, and creates a close-knit community of high-achieving students and outstanding faculty.

Since its inception in 2005, the program has grown from 18 to more than 200 current students. The success of the program stems from its rigorous academic offerings and a prestigious array of benefits, such as priority course registration and guaranteed on-campus housing for two years.

The CAS Honors Program is a valuable credential on your academic transcript and your professional resume. It tells future employers that you are a highly accomplished student who challenges him/herself.
