Prospective students must indicate their interest in the Honors Program on their admission application. The College of Arts & Sciences considers an applicant’s class rank and GPA; personal essay; and the quality of the secondary school curriculum, including advanced placement, honors, and other accelerated courses. CAS honors students will normally meet at least two of the following criteria:
- Academic GPA of 3.70-4.0
- Class rank within top 10 percent (if class rank is available)
- SAT scores of 1850 or ACT scores of 29
- TOEFL score of 600 (if applicable)
The program also considers applications from transfer students and from current students who have completed one full year of study at Suffolk with a minimum GPA of 3.7.
