Two plus two add up to a Suffolk bachelor’s degree

Two years at the Suffolk University Dakar are the first half of earning your bachelor’s degree. In those years, you will complete core courses to master the basic college-level skills needed for academic work in North American or European systems of higher education.

The Dakar core program stresses these skills:

  • Basic mathematics
  • Ability to present coherent arguments publicly
  • Analytical reasoning
  • Effective time management
  • Entry-level professional success skills for the global marketplace

Advanced study in Boston completes your degree

After two years of study at Suffolk University Dakar, you will have built a strong and viable academic foundation. Two more years of study will bring you to a bachelor’s degree at the U.S. campus of Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. Many Dakar graduates have successfully made the transition. Students and faculty agree that Dakar graduates are very well prepared, academically and socially, for life on the Boston campus, and are met with a warm welcome and enthusiastic support from faculty, staff and fellow students.

Dakar graduates in good academic standing are automatically accepted to continue their studies at Suffolk University. You may enroll in either of Suffolk’s main schools, the College of Arts & Sciences or the Sawyer Business School.

  • In Suffolk’s College of Arts & Sciences, you may complete a bachelor arts (BA) or bachelor of science (BS) degree in many fields, ranging from biology to computer science, medical sciences, psychology, environmental engineering, graphics design and more.
  • At Suffolk’s Sawyer Business School, you may pursue a bachelor of science in business administration (BSBA).
