Many students begin their Suffolk University education at Suffolk Dakar, transferring after two years to the main campus in Boston. If you have successfully completed two years of Dakar study, acceptance is automatic, and you may take your place at Suffolk University like any other student.

We encourage you to apply for admission to a two-year, full-time academic program at Suffolk Dakar, and to complete your education at Suffolk University’s main campus in Boston, Massachusetts. Apply in any of these programs:

• Bachelor of Arts
• Bachelor of Science
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS)

Your application must contain ALL of the following:

1. Nonrefundable fee of $20 US or CFA 10,000 fr.
2. Official high school transcripts – Originals or Notarized copies
3. Grade 12 certificate or baccalaureate examination (Francophone) or five o-level examinations (Anglophone) – Originals or Notarized copies
4. Official TOEFL, or ELPT, and/or SAT or ACT score results
5. Official translations of documents when appropriate
6. Confidential Declaration of Finances
7. 250- to 300-word, handwritten, autobiographical essay
8. Proof of citizenship (a copy of passport or birth certificate)
9. Official transcripts from all universities ever attended for review and potential credit towards degree requirements.

Two years in Dakar, two years in Boston.

If you are accepted to the Dakar program and complete it successfully, you may attend Suffolk University in Boston. Upon completion of 122 credit hours, 60-62 of which will be taken in Dakar, and 60-62 at the Boston Campus (or any other accredited institution of higher education in the United States).

A certificate of completion will be issued to those who successfully fulfill the first 54 credits of the degree program at the Dakar Campus. The completion of a full degree program takes approximately four years.
