To apply for admission to Suffolk Dakar, and ultimately to complete your degree at Suffolk University in Boston, you must apply by submitting the appropriate fee and the following documents.
- Application with $20 nonrefundable fee (or 10,000 CFA)
- Official high school transcripts – Originals or Notarized copies
- Grade 12 certificate or baccalaureate examination (Francophone) or five O-level examinations (anglophone) – Originals or Notarized copies
- Official TOEFL, or ELPT, and/or SAT or ACT score results
- Official translations of documents when appropriate
- Confidential Declaration of Finances
- 250- to 300-word, handwritten, autobiographical essay
- Proof of citizenship (a copy of passport or birth certificate)
Once admitted to the program, students must then complete a minimum of 122 credit hours, 60-62 of which will be taken in Dakar and 60-62 at the Boston Campus (or any other accredited institution of higher education in the United States).
A certificate of completion will be issued to those who successfully fulfill the first 60 credits of the degree program at the Dakar Campus. The completion of a full degree program takes approximately four years.
