Arriving in a new place, probably tired from your travels, you’ll need a few days to recover, adjust and settle in.
Suffolk Dakar’s fall term begins with several days of Welcome Orientation activities, giving students the chance to get acclimated to the campus and its surroundings, and to meet each other before classes begin in October.
The Welcome Orientation is designed to prepare new students for most aspects of college life through peer advising, lectures, seminars, social and sports activities, and interactive learning.
During orientation, incoming students learn more about the academic year ahead, receive their course schedules, sign up for student activities and learn about life in Dakar.
You will also have a chance to meet staff and faculty.
Orientation is a good time to ask questions, bring up your concerns, and prepare yourself for a term of study and growth.
We look forward to seeing you there.
