Suffolk University resumes normal operations.

8:20 p.m. - Shelter in Place has been lifted in Boston. At this time Suffolk University plans to resume normal operations on Saturday, April 20. Thank you for your cooperation.
3:10 p.m. - Students are encouraged to contact their families if they have not done so already.
9:35 a.m. - Food will be available in the 10 West Street residence hall at approximately 10:30 a.m. All other dining services are on a normal schedule.
- No guests are allowed in residence halls at this time. Guests who are currently signed in should stay.
- Residence Life Staff are available for immediate support. If staff members are out of the office assisting other students, the security desk will contact on-call staff. The Suffolk University Police Department may also be reached at 617-573-8333.
- You may call the Counseling Center at 617-573-8226 at any time. Follow the prompts to speak with a counselor,
- We encourage you to contact your family to let them know you are safe if you have not already done so.
8:15 a.m. - The City of Boston has asked all of its residents to shelter in place until further notice.
7:06 a.m. - Suffolk University Police advise students to remain in residence halls. They are not allowing any visitors.
6:45a.m. - Law enforement is asking people in the Greater Boston area to stay inside for safety due to intensified activity in the aftermath of the marathon bombing.
6:30 a.m. - Due to suspension of service on the MBTA, Suffolk University will be closed today. All classes and activities are canceled.
