A Safety Data Sheet (SDS), is a detailed document prepared by the manufacturer written to inform you about the hazards and characteristics of the product you work with. Information included in the SDS aids in the selection of safe products, personal protective equipment and spill control measures. Under OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard, employers are required to have Safety Data Sheets accessible at all times.
