Worker Classification Policy

Effective August 1, 2014, all employees wishing to engage the services of an Independent Contractor, must comply with the Worker Classification Policy [PDF]. Before engaging an individual to perform services, consult this policy for proper classification determination, contract policy and purchasing procedures. This policy applies to all future engagements regardless if the individual has previously performed services for the University.

This policy applies to all individual (independent) contractors, including but not limited to speakers, critics, advisors, consultants.
