Suffolk Law won the New England regionals of the National Moot Court Competition on November 22. Our winning students will head to New York City in February for the national finals. Suffolk hosted the Region 1 Competition, co-sponsored by the City of New York Bar Association and the American College of Trial Lawyers.  The competition is in its 66th year.

Each fall, teams from approximately 120 law schools compete in 15 regions across the country. The winning team, Molly Tobin JD’16, Devon Flanagan JD’16, and Matt Costello JD’16 argued against Syracuse Law in the finals before a panel that included two Mass. Appeals Court Justices and a fellow from the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Congratulations to coaches Professor Sabrina DeFabritiis and Tim Bolen JD’10 and Moot Court Team alums Jason Valencia JD’03, Matt Bove JD’08, Alexis Theriault JD’11 and Dave Soutter JD‘13.
