The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service staff offers one-on-one career counseling and advising services for Suffolk Law students pursuing public sector careers.
We assist students interested in public service opportunities by connecting them to internships, summer job placements, fellowships, scholarships, loan forgiveness programs, and post-graduate employment. Through the Center, students are linked to resources and are offered tips on interviewing with government and nonprofit employers.
Students interested in government positions should schedule an appointment with the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service's Executive Director. Students interested in the non-profit sector should schedule an appointment with the Director of Public Interest and Pro Bono Programs.
Please note that the Office of Professional and Career Development (OPCD) also offers counseling appointments. Students interested in public service should be sure to connect with both the Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service and the OPCD.
