Monday May 24th Arrival date for all Summer Session I and THETR 509 Flamenco in Madrid students. Students enter SUMC Housing. 18:45 Mandatory meeting; Welcome Reception afterwards
Tuesday May 25th Academic and cultural orientation for all new students
Wednesday May 26th First day of classes for Summer Session I and THETR 509
Friday May 28th Class make-up day (for 3 June, holiday)
Saturday May 29th Orientation day trip to Cercedilla and its Calzada Romana (ancient Roman road)

Wednesday Jun 2nd Last day for late registration and course changes for Summer Session I ("Add/Drop")

Saturday Jun 12th THETR 509 students vacate housing by noon
Friday-Sunday Jun 11th - 13th Excursion to Cordoba and Sevilla (optional)
Monday Jun 14th Last day to withdraw from a course without a grade of “F”
Sunday-Thursday Jun 20th - 24th SCI L112 Astronomy II Lab trip to the European Northern Observatory, Canary Islands*
Sunday Jun 20th Summer Session I deferred tuition and fee payments due
Thursday Jun 24th Last day of classes for Summer Session I
Friday Jun 25th Final exams for Summer Session I
Monday Jun 28th Final grades for Summer Session I due by noon. Students vacate housing by noon

Notes:

1. The Spanish Ministry of Labor publishes the calendar of official holidays a few months ahead of the relevant year. Therefore, it is possible that there may be changes in the Suffolk University Madrid Campus calendar. Changes are expected to be slight.

2. Suffolk University Madrid Campus reserves the right to alter these dates should the need arise.
