Suffolk University Madrid Campus is pleased to kick off each semester with an off-site, five day orientation that takes students, faculty and staff to explore an exciting area of Spain outside of Madrid (Asturias, Fall 2007; Seville, Spring 2008). During our orientation, students get an opportunity to get to know one another better while experiencing some of the traditions of Spanish culture, before starting classes. Orientation consists of:

Morning Sessions, with

• Intensive language classes
• Academic orientation
• Information sessions

Afternoon Sessions, with

• Excursions to natural parks, beaches, and wildlife reserves
• Exposure to cultural traditions, including food and art
• Visits to historic sites

In the evenings we all come together for family-style meals.
