Graduate Studios

There are several studios designated solely for graduate student use. These studios are equipped with state-of-the-art printers, scanners and computers.

Flex Studios

There are two Flex Studios for the Interior Design program, which integrate traditional and electronic technology into one classroom. The mobile walls of theses studios are on casters and can be moved to use as large group workspaces or as a presentation or lecture area. These walls are also covered in homosote and are used to display student work for classroom critiques and during exhibition periods

Lighting Lab

The Lighting Lab has been designed to demonstrate the latest in interior lighting, offering the faculty and students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the contemporary lighting technologies and to study firsthand the chromatic and lighting effects so important to the creation of successful interior environments. The Lighting Lab also functions as an important instructional tool and as a design resource for students who wish to apply the principles of lighting to their studio design projects. The Lighting Lab was designed to function simultaneously as a classroom to ensure the seamless integration of lighting issues into design studio teaching.
