Who can apply?
- Those who do not have a portfolio, but who are otherwise well-qualified academically and who wish to apply for the Fall 2010 semester.
- International students are eligible for this program*.
Application Materials & Deadlines for 2010
Application Deadline: Thursday, April 1*
Admission to this program will be on a first-come first serve basis for qualified applicants. Because of limited space, we strongly advise that students who are considering the Pre-Graduate Summer Program submit their applications to the Office of Graduate Admission prior to the deadline.

Applicants whose graduate application materials are incomplete (missing transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.) will not be considered for the program.

Admittance Notification from Suffolk: Friday, April 23
Students will be informed of their admittance. The earlier your application is submitted, the sooner you will be notified. Students enrolled in the Pre-Graduate Summer Program will maintain a non-matriculated student status during the course of the program, but will be conditionally admitted into the Master of Arts in Interior Design for the fall 2010. Those who successfully complete the program (by earning a B or better average in all courses) will be fully admitted into the Master of Arts in Interior Design Program for the fall 2010 semester.
Deadline for Program Acceptance from Student: Friday, May 14
Students who are admitted into the program must accept or decline admission no later than Friday, May 14. Please note that because the program requires a full-time, ten-week commitment, you must make any arrangements (housing, child-care, work, etc.) in advance so that you can be ready to begin the program on June 4th.
* Deadline for Program Acceptance from International Student: Thursday, April 29 (due to visa paperwork, international students must commit to the program earlier)

The tuition and studio fees $5,057 must be paid in full at the time of registration. Payment should be made through the School of Art & Design’s Continuing Education Office. There is no financial aid available for this program.

Refund Policies
Prior to June 4: 100% refund
June 7 - 11: 75% refund of tuition and fees
June 14 - 18: 50% refund of tuition and fees
After June 18: NO REFUNDS
Refund Procedures
Withdrawals must be received in writing either by fax, post or hand-delivered, or email to knoble@suffolk.edu. Refund amounts will be calculated from the date notice of withdrawal is received.
