GNAC named sophomore Aidiana Sagyndykova Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, and freshman Jessica Harmon was named Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Sagyndykova won six matches in a three-day stretch as the Suffolk tennis team posted a 2-1 record the week of Sept. 29. Sagyndykova swept all three of her individual games in the top position improving her season record to a 7-1 mark. She also paired with senior Adrianna Garrett in doubles play, and the pair won three of three matches they played last week. Suffolk's record isĀ 4-5 overall on the season and 2-1 in GNAC action.

Harmon tallied four goals in a pair of GNAC soccer contests last week. Harmon scored both goals on Wednesday in a 2-2 tie with the St. Joseph's College (Me.) Monks at Dilboy Stadium. The striker scored a pair of goals, both on breakaways, as Suffolk and Mount Ida College played to a 3-3 tie at home on Saturday. Suffolk has a 2-5-3 overall record and 1-1-3 mark in GNAC play. Harmon leads the team with five goals in 10 games and is ninth among GNAC players in points scored, with 12 on the year.
