The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University will showcase the work of its students during Boston Design Week as it hosts a gallery talk and a tour of the school from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at 75 Arlington St.
An exhibit featuring dimensional drawings and figures and color perspectives created by students in the Foundation program will be on display in the school’s Suffolk University Gallery.
“It’s exciting to be part of this Boston Design Week event that supports art and design education and the local design community,” said Karen Clarke, program director, Interior Architecture & Design.
Clarke will discuss innovative student work and professional practices at a 1 p.m. presentation, DESIGNing EDUCATION, in the gallery. Rita Daly, program director for the master of arts in Graphic Design, and Minko Dimov, the founder of Impromtustudio, who teaches Graphic Design, also will speak.
