The Mirapoint Webmail system will allow you to send up to 10 attachments at one time, as long as you have enough storage space to hold the sent copies.

back to top^Open the message and click the "This is Spam" button. Select all three options listed so that the sender can be added to your black list. Your message will then be moved into your "Junk Mail" folder, Once you have marked the message as spam the system support will ensure that future messages like these are detected as spam at a global level.
back to top^The messages stored in your Trash folder make up part of your quota usage. If you are absolutely sure you do not need those messages anymore, you can select them and click “Delete” or you can let the system automatically purge them for you in 30 days. Remember, once you empty your Mirapoint Webmail Trash, you cannot get those messages back!
back to top^If you delete a message accidentally, you can go into your Trash folder and undelete it by moving it back into to the Inbox or any other folder you would like. Please note that with Mirapoint Webmail, once you empty your Trash, you cannot get the message back, and University Information Services will be unable to restore if for you either.

back to top^Check in your Junk Email folder. If your message is listed as Possible Spam you will want to add the sender of the email to your White List within Mirapoint. This way all future emails will not be tagged as spam and moved into the Junk Email folder.
back to top^The WebMail / Online E-Mail system is a service provided by the Management Information Systems department to allow staff, students and faculty members the ability to check their Suffolk E-Mail accounts from the world wide web.
Simply open a web browser and point it to https://sumail.suffolk.edu/. When the web page loads, just log in with your user name and password. For more information on how to log in, check out the FAQs above.

1. Load a web browser and go to WebMail. There you can log in and check your email online.
2. You can get directions on setting up either Outlook / Outlook Express and configuring it to check your e-mail via the IMAP Protocol.
You can use either of the popular browsers that are available today. However, for best results it is recommended that you use Internet Explorer Version 6.0 or higher.

In Suffolk’s previous email system; if you were using Outlook, Outlook Express, or any other email software. You were required to have a mail/ set as the root folder path. In the new email system this mail/ is no longer required. Instruction on removing the mail/ are available online at Configuring other Email Clients. Scroll down the page and select the Client Reconfiguration for the application (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.) you are using to access your Suffolk email.
If you have only been using Suffolk’s Webmail and you are missing folders, you will need to contact the helpdesk at 617-557-2000. They will direct you to the appropriate person to solve you problem.
back to top^You will need to log into Suffolk University’s webmail site.
Once you are logged into the site you will need to Click on Options in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click on Forwarding which will be under the Mail options.
Click on Yes and then in the space provided you will want to enter the email address you wish to forward your email too.
Note: If you wish for a copy of your email to be kept on your Suffolk email account. place a check mark in the box that is next to Keep a copy of each forwarded message in your Inbox.
Basically all you have to do is fill out a simple form and send it to your College Academic Computing Department.

The user name you entered does not exist on the system.
This could be for a few reasons...
1. You do not have an account on the SUMAIL system.
2. You are a student and you are not registered for the current semester.
3. You are a student and you have registered late. (Your account should be activated with in a week or so, try again)
Your Suffolk email will remain active for up to six months after your graduation.
