The Mirapoint Webmail system will allow you to send up to 10 attachments at one time, as long as you have enough storage space to hold the sent copies.
If you decide to use an IMAP client to access your Mirapoint e-mail, you will not have access to some features that are only available on the Webmail interface:

Select all three options listed so that the sender can be added to your black list, your message can be moved into your junk mail folder, and the spam can be reported to system support to ensure that future messages like these are detected as spam at a global level.
back to top^The messages stored in your Trash folder make up part of your quota usage. If you are absolutely sure you do not need those messages anymore, you can select them and click “Delete” or you can let the system automatically purge them for you in 30 days. Remember, once you empty your Mirapoint Webmail Trash, you cannot get those messages back!

back to top^Check in your Junk Email folder. If your message is listed as Possible Spam you will want to add the sender of the email to your White List within Maripoint. This way all future emails will not be tagged as spam and moved into the Junk Email folder.

back to top^Your email, including folders, will be migrated from the current email system to Mirapoint. The migration will not include your Trash folder or any local folders created with an email client such as Netscape Messenger, Microsoft Outlook, or Microsoft Outlook Express.
Please be sure to discard unneeded email messages so that unnecessary data does not have to be carried over to the new system.
Your contacts will remain within the application that you currently use to access your Suffolk email. For Webmail users, address books will be migrated into the new online Mirapoint Webmail.
If you would like to import your contacts or address book from Outlook, Outlook Express, or Netscape into the new Webmail, download the instructions that are available online.

back to top^To access the Mirapoint system, you will use the same username and password you have been using with Webmail. Remember, the system is case-sensitive, so enter your username and password with the correct case.

In the new email system this mail/ is no longer required. Instruction on removing the mail/ are available online at: http://www.suffolk.edu/offices/14904.html . Scroll down the page and select the Client Reconfiguration for the application (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc.) you are using to access your Suffolk email.
If you have only been using Suffolk’s Webmail and you are missing folders, you will need to contact the helpdesk at 617-557-2000. They will direct you to the appropriate person to solve you problem.
