With the changing pace of technology, Suffolk University's network engineers have been hard at work expanding the campus wireless infrastructure. At the beginning of the fall semester, the new wireless network will be readily available in all buildings on campus allowing; students, faculty, staff and guests to access network resources.
Students with compatible laptops can roam within a wireless network service area and have access to the Internet, network printers, and their email. Faculty and staff will have the same access as students as well as to network resources such as; mainframe applications, shared folders, and more.
Campus departments or groups may sponsor wireless access to the campus network for designated campus visitors. To request visiting user access, a sponsor employed by Suffolk University must submit a Sponsored Visitor Wireless Access Request Form. Each request must be made three (3) days in advance of the desired start date to accommodate processing time. The sponsor will be notified of the visitor's wireless user name and password via e-mail.
The link below provides information for Faculty/Staff, Students, and Guests on how to connect to the wireless network while on campus.
