Massachusetts State Legislature Staff Training Program, February 14, 2007
On February 14, 2007, over 70 staff members of the current state legislature attended a training program held at Suffolk University Law School. Deisgned to provide staff members with the tools necessary to carry out the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the public service field, the training program included a variety of guest speakers and supplied each attendee with a valuable resource guide. Topics covered included the legislative process, policy agenda, dealing with the press and ethics. Co-sponsored by the Moakley Institute and Suffolk University’s Center for Public Management, the program was a great success. for the agenda for this program (PDF).
