Follow these simple steps to prepare your computer, register with Ruckus, and then download and install Ruckus Player to begin enjoying music from Ruckus.com. 

1. Make sure you have Windows Media Players version 11 or above installed.  You can check for updates  at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia.
2. Register with Ruckus at http://www.ruckus.com/. At the top of the page click “Sign Up”. Use your Suffolk email address and select the “student” option.
3. Return to the main page (http://www.ruckus.com/) to download the Ruckus Player. At the top right hand corner of the screen select ‘Ruckus Player’ and then click on “Download Ruckus Player”.   The program will begin downloading.
4. Select “Run” when the next screen appears and the player will install as it downloads. After you agree to the License Agreement, select “Default Installation” for the quickest and easiest install.  As the download finishes it will give you a choice of simple Set Up Options, such as whether to put an icon on the desktop.  Select options according to your preference. 

You will need to restart your computer before using Ruckus.
