Helpful Registration Tips:
Be sure to meet with your advisor to plan your courses for the semester.
If your major requires advisor approval prior to registration, be sure to check that the registration approval code has been entered for you. Prior to registration, the Registrar’s office will notify students who do not have the approved faculty advisor signature, so be sure to check your Suffolk University email account regularly.
On the MySuffolk portal, navigate to the 'Classes & Registration' tab and check the 'Register/Class Schedule' sub-tab to ensure your course is open.
Complete the appropriate prerequisites for the course. Note that prerequisite courses cannot be taken concurrently.
If you are a non-degree graduate student, you cannot exceed the maximum number of six (6) enrolled credits. You are not eligible to register for additional credits until you are accepted into a degree program. MBA courses are not open to non-degree students unless you are accepted as a MAPS student through the Sawyer Business School MBA Programs Office. Please contact the MBA Programs Office at mba@suffolk.edu with any questions.
Undergraduate degree students registering for the first time at the University must register during walk-in registration/orientation prior to the beginning of the term.
Check your assigned registration time ('My Assigned Time') listed under the Register/Class Schedule tab to find out when you are eligible for registration.
Do you have any holds that may prevent you from registering? Visit the Registration Restrictions link under the Classes & Registration tab of your MySuffolk account to check.
