Massachusetts State Legislative Academy, September 2009
The Moakley Institute and Suffolk’s Center for Public Management hosted the 2009 Massachusetts State Legislature Staff Academy in September.

Connections 2 College

The Moakley Institute co-sponsored the Connections 2 College program with S.O.U.L.S. and the Bird Street Community Center in Dorchester in July and August of 2009. This program is designed to help provide low-income and first-generation students with resources so that they may pursue higher education following high school graduation.

El Salvador Supply Drive, March 2009

The Moakley Archive and Institute and SOULS collected box loads of schools supplies, clothing and supplies to be sent to El Salvador.
