Bob Dugan has been Director of the Mildred F. Sawyer Library at Suffolk University since 1998.  His professional library career began in the mid-1970s and includes public and state libraries as well as a federal agency concerned with national policy on information services. 
 
He has formally taught courses at both the master’s and Ph.D. levels.  Publications include nine co-authored monographs and scores of articles on subjects including federal government information policy, telecommunications, library buildings, information technologies, metrics, financial management and leadership, and assessment and evaluation.
