The Center for Restorative Justice provides evaluation services and a selection of training opportunities. We provide assistance to communities that are exploring how restorative thinking can be applied to their situations. To this end, we offer several different types of training.
Introduction to Restorative Justice Workshop
is a three-hour experience introducing participants to the principles and practices of restorative justice.Restorative Thinking and Practices is a two-day experience supporting groups that are incorporating restorative thinking into new or existing programs.
Circle Training is a four-day commitment introducing participants to the principles and practices of restorative circles.
The Summer Institute in Restorative Approaches
is a five-day course for those involved in education, social services, or the criminal justice system. The program features speakers from active programs around the country and experiential exercises to strengthen participants’ understanding and use of restorative practices in their work situations.Coaching and Support is available from the Training Institute staff for all participants in the Institute’s various programs.
