Literary Reference Center Plus is a comprehensive database that provides users with a broad spectrum of information on thousands of authors and their works. This full-text database combines information from major respected reference works, books, literary journals as well as original content from EBSCO Publishing. Materials include more than 31,000 plot summaries, synopses and work overviews, nearly 100,000 articles/essays of literary criticism, more than 181,000 author biographies and more than 600 literary journals. Even some primary materials are included here, including more than 86,000 classic and contemporary poems and more than 21,000 classic and contemporary short stories.

The collection includes digital reproductions providing access to every page from every available issue.
