Information Retrieval Suggestions
Boston is an information-rich city. If the Sawyer Library does not own or have access to a specific journal title, the journal may be available in another library in Boston within walking distance of a MBTA subway system stop.
- the Sawyer Library belongs to the Fenway Library Consortium (FLC). Your Suffolk University identification card enables you to borrow books from any FLC member library.
- The Boston Public Library (BPL) at Copley Square is a world-class research library with extensive print and electronic collections. Massachusetts residents (including students living in the Suffolk University dormitories) may apply for a BPL card.
- most academic libraries in Boston will allow a student to enter, use the print collection (books and journals) and make photocopies. You may not be able to borrow the materials, but you may use them within the library.
